Seasonal as well as regional are also important aspects for him. Therefore, many things come directly from Salzburger Land. The product is the star he says. The basis. Everything else comes second. Accordingly, he personally takes care of food purchasing. From the farmers and bakers to the fish retailers and dairy farmers - he has chosen excellent local suppliers. To him, however, they are not simply suppliers but are partners, who allow him to turn his culinary visions into reality with their high-quality products. For our chef, quality is the only right way. He wins our guests over every day not only with his philosophy but also with Slow Food, which included Gasthof Goldgasse in the SLOW FOOD guide in the first year of opening.
The menu at Gasthof Goldgasse presents classics as well as modern, trendy interpretations of regional cuisine. For example, local char is cooked on a salt stone. What is commonly known as a crab cake is transformed into a sophisticated crayfish patty, and the legendary fried chicken from the Almtal is served on meadow hay in a copper pot. It simply melts in your mouth!
