Salzburg cooking tradition since 1719
Historic Salzburg cuisine at Gasthof Goldgasse
At Gasthof Goldgasse, historical Salzburg cooking traditions are combined with modern interpretations. Many dishes are based on recipes from the original cookbook “Konrad Hagger – Neue Salzburger Küche” from 1719, which still characterizes the hotel’s cuisine today.
The artistic illustrations from the historical cookbook can also be found in the restaurant and emphasize the character of the house. Light wood paneling, hand-hewn oak floorboards and traditional details combine Salzburg’s history with a peaceful atmosphere in the heart of the old town.
The result is a breakfast in Salzburg that combines regional cuisine, historical recipes and personal hospitality.
